4s take on the Vets

Squad: Cat, Catriona, Claire, Emily, Emma, Greta, Jennifer, Lara, Laura, Libby, Stella

The 4s finished off their first semester with a game against the vets!

The first half started out evenly with possession being turned over at rapid intervals. Both teams had a couple of chances they couldn’t convert. A very close and exciting game going into half-time!

After half-time, the match continued in similar fashion, with both teams attacking and defending equally, until a powerful shot from Jennifer in the 50th minute hit the back of the net. 1-0 to Edinburgh 4s! The 4s managed to hold on to their lead for 26 minutes, when an impressive shot from the vets curled into the top right corner after a period of intense pressure. 1-1. Edinburgh 4s tried to get back on top but the vets defended well until the very last minute and the game ended in a draw.
