A double brace from Vhairi, a strong finish from Molly and an impressive own goal by the opposition catapulted the 3’s to a well-earned win . The first half was a comfortable affair with Edinburgh controlling the match in both halves, Becca and Priscilla’s strong run’s allowed countless opportunities to be created. Strong defending from all the back four allowed Glasgow’s advances to be thwarted , impressive, considering the physicality of the opposition’s forwards ! The first half culminated in a score of 5-2 with Edinburgh keen to maintain their winning margin. However with better defending by the opposition the second half was not plain sailing , Glasgow got 2 goals back to make it 5-4. However the 3’s fought back with Vhairi tenaciously slotting in a goal to seal the game. Final score 6-4 , which will surely give the 3’s confidence going into their next fixtures.
